The Cabled Heirloom Blanket Knitting Pattern

GAUGE:
13 sts and 10 rows = 4" (10cm) in double seed stitch

NEEDLES:
US 9 / 5.5mm circular needles (Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.)

YARN:
Bulky weight (#5 Bulky)

Finished blanket measures 25” wide and 35” in length, although the pattern has an adjustment page to help you if you would like to make changes to size or add more cabled details.

The Knit and Purl Only Blanket Knitting Pattern

*Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner*

Like the title says, this entire blanket is made up of knit and purl stitches only. Needing to know only these two simple stitches, this blanket is beginner friendly. The detail from these two stitches makes for a lovely, relaxing project with lots of character!
